Synaptic Space

2025 / South Platte River Trail, Denver / The One mural trail / Commissioned by Denver Parks and Recreation and HealthOne / Masonry paint and aerosol

An anamorphic mural that opens a bridge pier into an imagined architectural room for forms inspired by microscopic body geometries: synapses, cells and neural pathways. As people move along the trail, the painted planes come together at one viewpoint. I rebuilt the site from measurements and developed the composition in 3D and VR before painting across the existing joints and changes of plane.

Pause-Flow-Reflect

2024 / Riverwalk tunnel, Aurora Highlands, Colorado / Art in the Park / Masonry paint and aerosol

Designed around the tunnel’s walls and ceiling as one space. Flowing forms respond to the nearby river and refracted, glass like shapes connect to the built setting. The work asks people to pause and find the perspective, flow with the shapes, and reflect on the layered depth of light and shadow. Developed from a scale reconstruction of the tunnel in 3D and VR.

Please, Stand By

2020 / Bushy Park bandstand, Dublin / Commissioned by the Office of Public Works / Masonry paint and aerosol

The bandstand had been unused for decades. I placed it on standby with the television test card, a pause in transmission, and the title asks viewers to stand in the exact spot where fragments across the roof, columns and steps align. Site measurements set the perspective.

Polymer

2020 / Commissioned for Science Gallery Dublin’s Plastics exhibition / Masonry paint and aerosol

A large graphic mural exploring the molecular geometry of cellulose acetate, a biodegradable alternative to plastic.
